They feel no romantic or sexual feelings towars people, but flirt to coax people into doing things for them.

They live with a wealthy host who has romantic feelings for them despite knowing their interest lies with his wealth and not him. Sweet Pea does have some platonic appreciation for him, but at the same time they can't really respect anyone whom they can so easily wrap around their finger.
