History

Aureole is a witch coming from a long line of witches and alchemists going back to the great Nicolas Flamel. Her family is very wealthy due to an ancestor finding out how to turn lead into gold. This formula has long been lost as well as Flamels scriptures on the Philosopher's Stone. Even with some books being missing all of the remaining ones are teached within in the family religiously. Her family moved from France to Scottland long before she was born, hence she grew up bilingual.

Childhood

From a young age she was drilled to be perfect. To not make any mistakes. This made her grow up to be a perfectionist, unable to be satisfied with herself. When she was just 7 years old she was tought alchemy by her relatives. She actually got the hang of it very soon since it doesn't involve magic powers. Just 3 years later they also started to teach her general magic involving spells, which she struggled a lot with. Her magical powers weren't nearly as good as her heritage promissed to be and she just couldn't figure out why. For the longest time it was blamed on her just being lazy.

The Truth

Shortly after joining the junior class of Aprodel she made new friends and learned a lot about herself and her flourishing magic powers. She managed to improve but something wasn't still quite right. In the middle of the school year she made a discovery when going on a field trip to the museum of magical artefacts. After the trip they were allowed to wander around the city for 30min before going back to Aprodel. She looked around for a bit, before peeking inside a magical thriftstore. After entering the room she felt instantly drawn to a piece of jewellery in a glass cabinet, made out of gold containing a blue sparkling stone. With her hands on the glass she felt it pulsating. She didn't give it much of a thought and bought it immediately. Her family was rich and she usually saved her money so why not spend it now. The old cashier got it out of the showcase and packaged it safely for her while telling her more about it. He told her the stones embedded in the golden necklace were Hoshi no tama. A magical stone containing the powers of a Kitsune. Listening to that it didn't make much sense to her why of all things the power stone of a fox demon would trigger such reactions out of her. She paid and took it back to the dorms. As soon as she entered her room she locked the door and ripped open the packaging. The whole time where she was waitung to get back she was almost not able to contain

A special wand hand crafted out of ebony, set with red sapphires. It's been passed on from generation to generation to the females in her family after deeming themselves worthy.
