Mireya grew up in a sheltered coastal oceanic community that shunned outsiders, especially non elven races. As a child she encountered wandering human spellcasters, hidden away in the outskirts of the community, seeking refuge. She ended up befriended this human couple and learned different worldly things from them. Eventually the humans were discovered and thrown out of the town due to the community's bigotry and as a result they were forced to face the danger they sought to escape; slain by pursuers despite pleads to stay.

Mireya developed a distaste for her people's intolerance towards others and began proposing allyship with outsiders, explaining that it could be mutually beneficial, economically and culturally. She advocated for the good things that diversity could bring, using anecdotal tales of utopia from her late human mentors to justify her reasoning, even raising a faction of people who developed the same acceptance.

Eventually, she was exiled from her home on the grounds of treason and was labeled a threat to their freedom and livelihood, using past historical events to believe in the prediction that outsiders would only colonize and destroy them. Mireya endured public punishment. Her immediate family (sister, mother, father) were too scared to step in and say anything, leading Mireya to believe that they didn't care about her.

There were other people that had the same beliefs that Mireya did and they were questioned too. But, unlike Mireya, they denied everything. They threw Mireya under the bus. Being that she was young, they believed she would be fine.

Though, even with knowing that they let her down, she doesn't want revenge. If anyone asked her why isn't she mad at them, she just says how could she be mad they were scared. She doesn't hold grudges against them; she believes everything happens for a reason - a learning experience.

As of now she wanders the lands, exploring the world, enjoying different cultures, and collecting tangible evidences that would allow her to return home and remedy their strong held prejudices.
