Koi

"May the beauty I exude entrance you..."

  Before conversion... Koi was born in the Mabisa region. Before "The Great Disaster" split the world into 6 floating regional islands, Koi worked as a humble craftswoman, creating beautiful accessories and clothing for sell and trade that were highly in demand. Her oriental themed designs, inspired by the beautiful Mabisa land and nature were coveted far and wide. Although she comes from a well to do family, she was very passionate about her work.

  After conversion... Once converted into a Shadowmonster by the explosion of black magic, Koi now spends majority of her time, quietly sitting alone surrounded by the nature in Mabisa, her greatest inspiration and source of tranquility. She is normally found relaxing on a clean stone in the middle of a secluded lake or lush, thriving forest. She communes with animals both big and small, controlling and holding conversations with them with her mind. Also, using her element of earth, she continues to still create beautiful accessories to this day. Once she acquires a large number of them, she takes them into a populated area to trade, sell and gift to the less fortune/poor.

Koi normally stays to herself (other than animals, mostly to create and work in peace) but she's far from shy or unsociable. She enjoys watching others in Mabisa, especially playful children and males her age. She rarely speaks, always giving a soft expression or action to convey her feelings/ideas instead earning her the title "The Quiet Beauty".

At night, Koi's soft melodic humming can be heard on the winds from a lake or forest, giving it an alluring and haunting feeling. Those who follow the haunting notes in the dark of night will come upon her (transformed into a shadowmonster) illuminated by the glow of fireflies and moonlight. On rare occasions, she may also hum in the bright light of day, attracting butterflies and animals as well.
