Rane is a powered super hero located in Boston, Massachusetts. He has the ability of fire and flame bursting, along with spontaneously combusting when his emotions run too high or situations get too tough. He was once known for being very volatile with his abilities, but has since become more capable of handling and controlling them.

He is fiery in nature, as what his element suggests and has little time for villains or cruel and foul people, preferring them get what they deserve. He has a short patience and can be snappy more often than not, but also has a big heart that is full of secret love and admiration. He is emotional, but would deny ever being something so 'stupid'.

Trivia

• Rane is somewhat of an anti-hero, but is actually fairly good a the job, so I personally consider him to be a hero. He is quick footed, and very prompt with his abilities, often stopping something dangerous before it grows into a bigger problem.
• He isn't great with people and has a short fuse for tolerance with them. This leads to many problems with the public, as he's not as kind as they expect him to be, and runs a hot temper. That being said, people with thick skin find that he's a pretty cool, helpful friend.
• He wanted to go to art school, but he sucks at art really bad. Like, he's just not able to do it very well or really has the patience for drawing. His interests lay more in astronomy and space, but he considers that to be 'nerdy', and doesn't allow himself to indulge or follow more interest in it.
• He listens to My Chemical Romance, but his favorite band is Smashing Pumpkins. Old school Green Day follows a close second. He's pretty passionate about music and really judgmental about it sometimes.
• Rane and his entire family are Jewish (I almost wrote Jesus I am fucking losing it oh my god). They aren't very religious at all, but they do take holidays somewhat seriously. 
• His birthday is January 1st! Symbolic for the start of the calendar/year and for rebirth. Most of his character revolves around growth and rebirth. 
• Writer's notes: Rane. Ah. Rane. He is a fireball and full of so many things it's difficult to express it all on a single profile. He is a close second favorite to Gwen, and one I understand a little more. Rane is a very envious person, he puts himself down and compares himself to others too often. He's restricting on himself, and a volcano when it comes to other people and handling their emotions on top of his already unstable ones. He's impulsive and hurts people's feelings without really meaning to. He is very BPD coded, honestly, and very fragile. I consider him to be in a constant 'split' on the spectrum of black and white thinking, where he is more often on the negative side.
