Species Data Empaths are beings of pure energy that thrive and grow based on the feelings of those around them; their individual temperaments are developed early in life and are solely determined by the environment they're born into. As they grow they learn how to construct an outer 'shell' in order to separate themselves from others and define their own personal identity; in the case of pure empaths this outer shell takes a humanoid appearance with very pale skin and bright color-changing eyes that fluctuate with their mood. When blending with other species they can alter their appearance through illusions in order to more closely mimic the dominant species of that planet. They also have very weak telepathy, allowing them to communicate in emergencies or with those that can't speak, and can emotionally 'link' with others in order to share information. Opening the link though is extremely dangerous to the individual as it bypasses their protective shell and, if not carefully controlled, puts them at risk of losing themselves. A fully realized empath gains thin translucent wings that naturally shimmer with all the colors of the rainbow and reflect their inner being. |

Saniya is selfless and kindhearted, always trying her best to do what she knows to be right even when it puts her at odds with those around her. She cares too deeply, pushes herself too far, and willingly gives too much of herself just to ease the burden of those that likely wouldn't even think twice about her; she has very little sense of self-preservation and will keep going until she burns out unless someone forcefully stops her. She has gotten better over the years, stabilized somewhat with Firth's steady presence, but she remains too ready to help others before tending her own aches. |
| Backstory | Early Life
Saniya was bullied as a child, ostracized from society for being an 'impure', to the point her mother was forced to raise her in isolation near one of the few cities the empaths had not taken over. As she grew though she still naturally tried to reach out, always wanting to make a connection despite the constant rejection, and it was this that led her to play the game with Moirai and Oddmun. Even this connection was only superficial though, over the course of the 'game' Oddmun frequently used her and her power just to make sure they could eventually win and once they did he left her to her own devices. With nowhere else to go and no one left she followed the cycle of the game to Kulttuuri and lived in solitude there until she found Firth. Game Saniya is an old soul born into the previous universe among a race of 'empaths'. The empaths were a humanoid race with enhanced mental powers and bright eyes that changed color to reflect their current mood. They were also a peaceful race that altered their appearance to more closely resemble those they encountered, and this was where Saniya came in. She was not a 'pure' empath, no her father was a human native to the world the empaths came to settle onto, and when she came of age she found herself thrust into a dangerous game. Her co-players the Knight of Doom and the Seer of Space aided her in a long session that eventually proved fruitful, but upon gaining the reward they chose to abscond to the far reaches of their new universe. Their own session had worn them past exhaustion and they had no desire to see the game again. Saniya though chose to stay on the first world of this universe, the one that would one day play the game just as the old world did, and sought out this world's guardian.
