I really like this dude's design and even if I don't get my hands on him, seeing him ignited some inspiration to work on some of my story stuff!
There's two stories he could be added to, maybe both if I wanted to get a feel for the drafts. The first is this one story I've been slowly revamping, about a secret magical society hidden in a modern day setting. My first thought is that he could be one of the hunters that seeks out corrupted souls and puts them to rest before they can spread corruption. So he would be friends / partners with https://toyhou.se/3169415.-chinatsu . Or he could be friends or maybe frenemies with https://toyhou.se/5090430.-avi-plume , who isn't a hunter and is actually infected with corruption. If he were in this story he'd probably be a hunter disguised as a substitute teacher. He loves children and his whole motivation for being a corruption hunter is that his fiance became corrupted. They'd always planned on having children or adopting, but his whole world was changed before it could happen.
Corruption hunters are normal people (well, furries, since it's a furry universe), but once they take the oath and join the organization, they take on magical abilities so they can see the things mortals can't.
A funny kind of scene would be the students he's subbing talking about the ages of different teachers and they lose their shit when he casually says that he lost count- and then realizes he made the mistake and says he's, like, 40. He realizes he should have lied and said he's 28, like the age he was when he became a hunter, but it doesn't seem to matter because none of the kids take him seriously, insisting he looks too young and that he's just lying so he doesn't have to share his actual age.
Anyway, as for personality, the gist I'm getting is that he's friendly and laid back, but only kind of surface level friendly yknow? He doesn't like unnecessary conflict so he's nice enough, he makes small talk, but he doesn't really like talking to people or making friends. The only friends he would really consider his friends is Chinatsu and mayyybe Avi, if we went that route. Chinatsu doesn't know about his past life and she feels it's rude to ask, but maybe they'll talk about their pasts eventually. Before losing his fiance, Tybalt was a little more open and expressive. He was actually quite a bit of a dork and he loved art and design. He was planning on being maybe an architect and was enrolled to go to college but had to cancel after her death shook his life up too much.
Eventually in the story, he'd probably bond with the kids that Avi takes care of, Corine (https://toyhou.se/6868397.corine) and Sasha (https://toyhou.se/4480969.-sasha-). Depending on how the story goes, he could maybe adopt Sasha since she's an orphan, and that could lead to some character development where he finally comes to terms with the things he's lost.
Also, for his hunter abilities, he could have some sort of sneaking ability where he can blend into things almost like a chameleon and maybe he has night vision. This isn't as set in stone really because I'm still figuring out the magic system and stuff for this universe, but I think a sneaking and vision focus would pair well with Natsu's flying and speed abilities. As with most hunters, they both have some sort of weapon infused with "dawn's light", a liquid that seems to dispel corruption. He'd have a dagger and maybeee a bow with arrows.
(If we're allowed to do drawings of the character concepts, I was thinking of some cute interactions of him with the kids, or some cool action shots maybe!!)
