 - bratty, bitter, musical, reckless, disrespectful

 A comparitively young demon, and a Marquis of Hell, Phenex was 'born' in Hell long after both the original fall, and the fall of the grigori. As he grew up, his dedication to sin and entrapping mortal souls was recognized, and he was given a title and a place in Hell's government system. However, Phenex was never much one for politics, much preferring to go out partying and skipping meetings altogether, with no regard for the work or experience of the older demons he worked with. It was his belief that after many years, he'd be allowed into Heaven, but he was decieved in this belief, as Heaven never had any intent in willingly letting the denizens of Hell through it's gates.

- the 37th demon in the ars goetia, and 68th in the pseudomonarchia daemonum. listed in both as a marquis/marquess.
- hair and feathers glow and are warm to the touch.
- has a lip ring, one piercing on his left ear (lobe) and his right is stretched to fit a gold taper piercing.
- wears a lot of eyeliner.
- believed for a long time that after 1200 years had passed he'd be allowed into heaven.
- still bitter that he never got into heaven.
- considerably younger than many other demons he works with, and tends to regard them as a bunch of old farts with no mind for their experiences.
- thinks of knife as "the old mans trophy wife."
- does get along with asmo and marchosias, though doesn't really 'get' why asmo is so enamoured with leviathan.
- has a beautiful singing voice and a very wide range.
- has a bit of a baby face and hates people pointing it out.
- enjoys science and poetry. likes to write his own but doesn't show it to anyone.
- much like the pheonix he turns into, will inevitably wear himself out every so often, go up in flames, turn to ash and be reborn every century or so.
- does eventually gain some respect for lucy after the man saves him from a group of angels, even if he's not about to admit it.
- likes to paint his nails.
