Saxifragewind

Despite her clan’s tendency to be quiet, Saxifragewind is loud and boisterous, making her presence known far in advance of her appearance. A fire glows in her gaze, and she is always up for a plot or scheme. Her favorite part is the planning, in which she is meticulous and will consider every detail, down to the time of moon it should be carried out and how to skirt authority. Her craftiness makes her an excellent sidekick to Foxheart’s antics, and she absolutely adores her friend. A bit blunt at times, she doesn’t sugarcoat anything, a habit that rubs some cats the wrong way. To make up for it, she is overly social and friendly with everyone, whether or not they wish to be friendly with her. A notorious flirt, she will talk up any and every cat, though her intentions are often unclear. Foxheart is her favorite to flirt with, and the two often exchange banter back and forth.

A full-blooded Cliffclan warrior, she has long fur and the muscles needed to traverse the treacherous terrain. However, she is a bit slimmer than some of her clanmates. She uses this to her advantage, leaning more towards quick, rapid attacks instead of heavy hits. She was given the suffix -wind in honor of her speed in and out of battle, and she doesn’t let anyone forget it, often challenging them to races across the territory with the promise of a share of prey as a reward. Having grown up alongside Foxheart, she’s adopted some of her bad habits, and is starting to become a displeased with the way Cliffclan is run. Some of the practices are barbaric and outdated, and she wonders the necessity of many of them. Ashstar’s leadership in particular has not sat well with her and she fears for the security of her clan in the future. As she gets older, she wonders what will become of her when she “retires.” Though she doesn’t fear for her own safety and ability to care for herself, she wishes to stay with the clan she has fought beside for her whole life and doesn’t feel it fair to have to leave because she is weak.
