Rika is an employee at “Big Blue Oshima” a small convenience store. She’s a very hard worker and often does more work than some of her other fellow employees. Some days when not working at Oshima, she helps her grandma cutting fish at the marina and helping her auntie with selling jewelry/wood carvings at the farmers market. When she finally has free time you’ll find her surfing and exploring the beach wherever she can. Bringing her surfboard and goggles everywhere. She loves finding little critters, snorkeling, catching big waves and just being out in the sun. Rika lives in a small home more in the forest parts of the island, not far from a beach, Rika has a trail from her backyard to it. Often in the early morning before work she tries to catch a few waves. Rika ends up meeting Yumi thru mutual friends of theirs Ricardo another member of Yumis band. Rika loves seeing and spending time with Yumi and tries to catch their shows when she can. Yet Rika is completely oblivious to Yumi’s feelings for her, has no clue at all even with it being very obvious to everyone else. Rika is very bubbly, hardworking, honest, dorky, sweet and a bit childish at times. She’s happy to help people whenever she can. Her hair is very curly and she has freckles/spots all over, please don’t forget her under bite with her teeth!! Also feel free to draw her hair up in a ponytail or bun, she often wears her hair like that to work or swimming!
