| Ruby was made to be an ordinary solider, she was created with a third eye that she hid with her hair. She realised early on that she is more intelligent than her peers, she hid this fact also as no one would listen to a lower class gem like a Ruby. That all changed when she was assigned to Yellow Sapphire. As Ruby has to be more careful to who she trusts, she has learnt to read gems from afar. And man, she saw through Yellow Sapphire's mask in an instant. Yellow was also defective, she wasn't as knowledgeable nor intelligent as other sapphires. Ruby and her formed an allegiance, Ruby supplied Yellow with the correct information and what to say, in return Yellow would protect her from other gems. One day the base they were stationed at was attacked by a rebel squad, seeing this as the perfect moment to escape, Ruby told Yellow that they should flee, Yellow scooped up Ruby and ran for it. They have made it their mission to explore and discover many new planets, people, animals, anything they can find. | |
