Personality: she's typically a mermaid who keeps to herself most of the time, preferring to spend time alone when her duties are done for the day. She isn't shy however, and will be enthusiastic if you talk to her, she just doesn't want to do a whole lot of social things. Despite this, she does need some time with other mermaids, and typically spends that time with her childhood friend Flick.

Backstory: Caroline grew up in a group of mermaids called a click. The click works together to raise all the children, so she grew up really close to all the other mermaids her age. Despite everyone working together, Caroline's parents were considered lower ranking within the click, so she didn't get as many luxuries as other mermaids. Feeling bad about this, her friend Flick helped her out and often shared things with her so she could experience the different luxuries with the others, and that helped the two become really close with each other.
