About
a space explorer with a special interest in earth! ever since she was a tiny girl, she always wanted to be a world renowned space explorer just like her dad. until one day, he left for an adventure and disappeared without a trace! now, she and her best friend arrio travel the galaxies, making new friends, exploring new planets, and searching for her missing father! vesp collects all kinds of space-themed goodies from earth; clothes, toys, movies, etc. her room is basically a mini museum. its not only earth things she collects, though. ask her about her intergalactic stamp collection! she takes pictures of every place she goes, with either her phone or a digital camera. she keeps 'em in a big scrapbook back home. she loves to take selfies with her friends and will often do so spontaneously without warning.
super clumsy, which gets her into all sorts of trouble when she's out adventuring. she can't fly a ship either, since she's too young, but she REALLY wants to. she has what the humans call "adhd". she stims a lot! she happy stims all the time, flapping her hands or jogging in place when she's super excited. when she's bored or anxious, she bites things, usually her sweater sleeves or her fingers (resulting in extra bandaids on her hands). eventually she got an alien-shaped chew necklace to fix that!

Best friends
vesp met arrio after she snuck out of home and ended up crashing a ship on his planet. after a bit of trouble, the two pretty much became inseparable! they both rely on each other for different reasons. she sees him kind of as another brother to hang out with. she's always begging for arrio to drive her places, and pick her up things from different planets. he's usually happy to take her places, but sometimes if he's not feeling it she'll get grumpy and go explore on her own.
Friends
niqa first met vesp in cat form, as she played pranks and showed her jokester side. vesp was mad with her at first, but after getting to know her humanoid form and her sweet, shy side, they became close friends. they love being silly together! niqa has a crush on vesp, and isn't keen on hiding it either, vesp is just dense. niqa herself doesn't even realize its a crush. all she knows is that she loves being close to vesp and wants to stay there forever, she loves being close to vesp and will sometimes cling to her/snuggle like a cat would.
Close siblings
they have the closest sibling bond! as kids they were always playing together, and Q made a good little babysitter. vesp sometimes gets frustrated and thinks that Q is too worried about her. she wants to prove to him that she's perfectly responsible, and can explore on her own! they also participate in sibling culture (playful teasing, t-posing at each other in the hallway, would literally die for each other)
