Personality

As a result of being subjected to numerous instances of abuse by the temple he served, he seems cold and untrusting, with a tinge of depression from the perception that there is no one that he can trust. However, with the few individuals that have gained his trust, he is a very nice and understanding person when you get to know him. He will seem shy and reserved once his outer shell is removed, though his sincerity and caring nature well makes up for it.

Background

Gwenivere originally served in a temple that focused on serving the people. When the original archpriest died of natural causes, the council lost sight of their duties to the public and, with the choosing of the new archpriest, became corrupted by money and greed, altering their goals to the point where their service became a paid service. Gwenivere strongly protested against this, and as a result, the council ordered him to be killed. They knocked Gwen out and disposed of his body in the basin far below their temple, believing he died, but he woke up stranded in a woodland area. From that point, he set out with almost nothing, going from town to town to rebuild his skills and strength to face the people who turned his own people against him. From this, he also set out to find his lover and propose to him.
