Mx. Perfect, they seem to have it all. Looks, intelligence, money, athleticism. Openly generous to a fault and radiantly kind.
Only... most of that is a front they've been forced to uphold for their family's reputation.
Internally, they're conflicted. They're tired of people liking the idea of them more than them themself. Kind of angry. Kind of numb. They never wanted to accept that every single person around them would be fake and manipulative, or be too blinded by their own warped perceptions to see the real Caelan. It just sort of... Happened.
So meeting honest, openly suspicious Aruth was very refreshing, and watching as Berry saw past their façade and remain by their side
