Erazius

Son of King Belaqaam and rightful heir to the throne. Demon Kings produce a multitude of offspring, but only one will bear the blood of a ruler. Erazius bears such blood--as well as a prophecy. He is to become the Demon God, of whom legends tell the great awakening of after he was quieted. His father Belaqaam fears the prophecy. In a series of unfortunate events Erazius mistakes a gift from Belaqaam for an effort to stifle his ascent to the throne, forms a pact with a spirit of power, and commits regicide in order to reign. Is later fought by Alteris, and slain by Alteris' partner (who was destined to be Erazius' bride but was rescued from the prince's clutches). Is said to brandish a flaming blade and drink the blood of Belaqaam's offspring.
