Backstory

He was born in the poorer area of a popular/ famous city. His mother was a server at a restaurant and his father was part of the mafia. His parents broke up when he was a toddler, mother had legal custody. One day the father kidnapped Eugene from his mother only so she would feel awful. There was a search party and such for him but he couldn't be found.  (Poor funding for the poor part of the city) He had friends that went looking for him, one of his friends was a teenager who was very close to saving him but he got shot by the dad's mafia. One of his friends was romantically close to the one that died and Eugene visited them to console but he had to go back otherwise bad things would happen to him. The girlfriend of Eugene's dad loved Eugene alot and would spoil him with food since the boy couldn't leave the house often. (As indulgence in food was introduced to him in this way it became a coping mechanism later on.) Because Eugene grew up in these circumstances he became familiarised with the ways of the mafia and the group became somewhat familiar with him. Amoris didn't like him hanging around the mafia so he tried not to hang around them too often. (Also, he was very smart for a poorly homeschooled kid)  When he grew up to be a teen he often had fights with his Dad because he would abuse Amoris. One day a fight got so bad Eugene was close to death so he moved into an apartment and worked cleanup night shifts just to eat and pay the bills, this is a low point in his life. During this time he meets Soy. A couple years pass by. As Eugene is walking to work in the dark Amoris finds him and tells him that his father was shot in a bar and is deceaced, she tells him that as much as she hates the mafia there is his father's position waiting for him. He goes back and joins the group of criminals, he fits in exceptionally well and works his way to the top after a few years. Everything that happens after is current stuff in his story, some things include: gunfights, making his relationship with Soy work, gluttony, and smuggling a variety of things. He loves to live on the edge and use his witty noodle for strategics.

Bruno takes on as Eugene’s apprentice and they eventually merge gangs (they get over their rivalry after having to work together against a common enemy?)

Eugene retires and has his own pawn shop
