Spectre (nfs/nft)

Name: Spectre 

Pronounced: Speh-c-ter or possibly Speh-c-trah 

Gender: None

Pronouns: they/them/it/it’s (referred to as “The being” or “Being”)

This Being is not originally from Hollownest. They came from a far away kingdom as a traveler running away from family, as soon as they ventured down they discovered some sort of infatuation with the crystals near Dirtmouth. Intrigued they stopped to study them and to travel the city, but the infection interfered with their plans and the being had some infection in them however it had not fully taken them over yet. Looking at their options the being decided to take measures into their own hands and by that they crafted a mask infused with some of the underground caverns crystals. Amazingly the crystals did seem to stop the spread of the infection. But it certainly did not stop it completely, in turn the being has violent mood swings. Normally docile in nature (a rarity in Hallownest.) The being tends to get defensive and almost aggressive as a result. The being tries to keep the swings at bay and isolate itself a lot but this does bring about loneliness. The being would like to stay at Dirtmouth or with one of the other bugs down below but is fearful it would lash out at anyone. 

This being isn’t a vessel and therefor isn’t made out of void or has any void abilities unlike the knight. They tend more to use their nail they acquired back at their homeland as their main weapon of choice. 

The being has spoken to just about everyone down below and has made friends with multiple bugs such as quirrle, the 3 brothers, elderbug and more. They travel around but not very far anymore. Wishing to find some sort of cure for this dreaded infection. When Spectre talks it does not have a mouth, so the words are that of a disembodied voice with echo.

The infection is in them, but not totally making them still able to have a mind. This mind is corroded from the infection being in the other half. But it doesn’t spread to the entire being. 

The being also has another set of arm like limbs like “The collector” due to the infection before they contained it changing their shape. This infection also while around the crystals acted with them, which then resulted in the last mutation of some sort of tail with a stinger on the end and spikes on top (the spikes and stinger being crystal.) this infection did spread into the arm of the being but knowing what would happen if they did not stop it soon they cut it off with their nail. 

The “normal” being before the infection was a traveler and quite docile, only fighting when needed to. Simply when something attacked them, they also liked shiny or interesting looking objects. The objects they looked they wrapped around their horn for safekeeping. 

Way of attacking can very from this being. Most of the time their "bad" half takes over and attacks for them whether they like it or not.

Actual attacks: Spectre can attack in a variety of ways so here's their main ones

1• Nail 

Their nail provides a basic offensive as well as defense by blocking another beings own nail. The only special ability of Spectre's nail is that it has some infection inside of if, and can be released if the nail is hit or the user is hit. (The bad side can control this.)

2• Magic (sort of) Spectre can summon crystal projectiles and use them sort of like throwing knives. They can come on different shapes, but mostly spike-like (the bad half cannot control these.)

3• Magic again this time Spectre can either stomp to cause this to happen or have it "build up" what happens is when they release this crystals shoot up from the grown being smaller near the foot and bigger the farther they get. (The bad side cannot control this.)

4• Tail/Spikes a simple attack these are self explanatory. Spectre's tail has a scorpion like stinger on the end enabling him to use it as such. The spikes on the tail can also be used to impale or things of the sort. (The bad side can control this.)
