In the group everyone has their own codename and Numbers. 

Enjoys puzzles and challenges. Doesn't back from them as to test her self.

The relationship between Milo and Mel (Melissa) 

Milo at one point save´s Melissa´s life from drowning and later on her brother from beeing eaten by a genetical beast (modded by Vivian) where the brother saw his form.  
This got Mel´s interest. One for the „reptile“ that saved her brother and checking up info more on Milo. With the info she had gotten, chip and such, she found parallel´s. Inbetween the two have chatted normally and started to form a bond. With her meeting Milo in person (not telling him at first who she is) but to get to know him more. The two share hobbies and have similiar taste in food.  As well as the challenge aspect. Both don´t back down from it.
At one point they have a walk from a festival held to celebrate Sunburst city (lanterns, market kind of like Sakura festival or summerfestival) This had been the most fun Milo ever had since breakup with Lori. Both talk and have a connection. At one point, after a small chitchat with Abby, they head down near decorated docks/cave.. (scenery missing) where both open up a lil. (like both having different dad´s, not knowing their mom, family and siblings.. etc) With Vivian´s next monster attacking, Milo at first defends in normal form. As Mel get´s badly hurt, he uses his form to defeat the beast, carry her in arms to safety and hide´s from outside so that it can calm down. Caring for her wounds, to then wanting to leave. Mel, who is at first stunned seeing his form, connects the lines and knows more. Not beeing that afraid, holding him from going. „You gonna leave me like this genius?“ (something witty like that)

That´s so far from storywise and their connection/Bond.
