Normal Japanese schoolgirl except with a weird side-effect of her dad's hereditary illness that grants her uncontrollable reflexes; she can dodge 95% of anything that her subconcious registers as danger (doesn't work when she's knocked out)

This proved to be a problem in her childhood, because it was hard to do her vaccinations, so she spent a lot of time ill

Lives alone in a comfy house in the neighbourhood (dad has to live in the country, mom stays with him but visits often) and all is well until some transfer students come in

All of a sudden there's mafia everywhere and soon enough Tanita gets tangled in

Her current status is the Cloud Guardian of the Viverre family; her box animal is a butterfly (Choco, farfalla nuvole) that can change its size with the size of anything it touches; TYL has a spare box with bunnies (coniglio nuvole)

Trains to use thrown objects (mostly grenades) as weapons

Time-traveled to the future so her interactions with both 15 y.o. and 25 y.o. Shinji are canon

Nicknames include "Tani-chan", "Hiroko" and "butterfly girl"

Very friendly, a little naive, a romantic and a cuddle bug; very stubborn and afraid of failure; confident about things she knows she can do; irritated by people breaking the rules (was a member of a disciplinary commitee for a few years) but eager to do so herself

Yearns for adventure and dives all in when given the chance
