With his connection to the stars, Gossamer always knows true north. He also glows faintly in the dark; he has no control over either of these abilities, and cannot turn them off. The unerring compass gets annoying.

Gossamer was once a star in the sky, like any other, but for reasons he still doesn't know he fell out of it. He ended up at the Counterspell, owned by the witch Parsifal, and the staff of that shop tried to help him figure out who he was and what he was doing there.
Gossamer and his new friends quickly figured out that it would be nearly impossible to get him back up to the stars, so he had to come to terms with his reality: he's a person now, and he has to live a life in this unfamiliar world. It's been difficult to come to terms with, but he's working on it.
Gossamer spends a lot of time at the Counterspell; it's where he feels most secure, though he does now have his own place to live. His friends are supportive and welcoming.
Cloud Nine is an employee of the Counterspell, the magic shop that helped Gossamer when he first fell from the sky. He's always willing to keep Gossamer company when he's lonely; Gossamer may not be able to say it, but it's something he appreciates a lot.
Parsifal owns the Counterspell, and Gossamer visits him often; Parsifal is the person responsible for helping Gossamer feel most at home here, and he's someone Gossamer considers a very close friend.
Rosegold is another regular of the Counterspell; Gossamer sees them often, but isn't sure how to feel about them. They're much more energetic than Gossamer usually feels equipped to handle, but he's learning how to appreciate them, too. It's certainly never too quiet with Rosegold around.
Dark blue bat with a lighter blue stomach and face. His finger and toetips are partially transparent. He has a fluffy white ruff around his neck, and very fluffy ears of the same color. He has many spots of the same lighter blue, and star-like freckles.
His wings are transparent, but have rose patterns on them in white with a gold shimmer. His nose is metallic gold.
