a masters student working to get his phd in medieval history. the more time he spends visiting specific historic sites for his research, the more frequently he has odd dreams where he's living at these locations hundreds of centuries ago. he's starting to have trouble distinguishing who he is now from who he supposedly was in the past. he feels an inexplicable connection to another student in the art department of his university, and no matter how many times he's given the cold shoulder by him, he can't stop thinking about how the two of them are bound together by fate.
