Azalis

Azalis is a guardian of life motes and associated fairies. These little glimmering orbs and winged beings are often sought for their healing abilities, but those who use them too recklessly will extinguish the lights and kill the poor creatures. Azalis does his best to shepherd them about safely, passively remaining young and strong himself, when in fact he's ancient even for an elf. He wouldn't die immediately should he leave the motes and fairies, he'd simply begin the process of aging at a normal rate again.
