Personality: Has trouble coping with stress and tends to panic when in a stressful situation. Loves tinkering and building things and has gotten into things like carpentry in the past, but he is a very good mechanic. Very smart, loves to do math problems. Tends to be chill and lax most of the time, its hard to upset him with words or annoying things, generally only gets upset only when things go wrong.
Story: Axel-Ray grew up with with his older sister and younger brother, Anna May and Crusty. He moved out of his families home the day Crusty turned 18, after he had gotten a small home for the two of them to share. He helped support the place while Crusty went to college, working as a local mechanic. The few months before the Collapse were extremely stressful as he and his brother lost contact with their sister, who was living in Hope County at the time. They tried to find her there, but were unsuccessful. in entering the county. They managed to survive the Collapse by hiding underground for some months until they emerged and went to Hope County. They met with Mary May, who told them everything that had happeed before the Collapse, before she eventually died. Axel-Ray met his wife Kathy and the two of them had kids. When the Highwaymen first showed up to Hope County, they wanted Axel-Ray to fix their vehicles. Him and Crusty ran to Prosperity, but in their escape, Crusty got captured by the Twins. Axel was devastated and when he was sure his family was safe in Prosperity, he left, to make sure the Twins couldn’t find him at the settlement. He spent much time in hiding until the Captain took back the Chop Shop. He went there to help rebuild it back to Falls End. While there, he got news about Anna May’s death and told Crusty. He tried to calm his brother into a less vengeful direction, but failed. He returned to Prosperity at Kim’s call with his brother and the two of them were reunited with Anna May. After the whole ordeal with the Highwaymen is over, Axel-Ray moves his family back to Falls End, where he stays.
