Tara is my version of Sleeping beauty for OzMafia. Meaning, my OC.
Her story goes a little different from Fuuka. The first to find her is Hamelin.
He discovers her at the forest, as if possessed , Hamelin felt the need to help her. This was due to Helle’s magical influence. It was her way to protect Tara and to keep her out of trouble, surrounding Tara with a certain amount of magic, affecting people in a certain radius to feel compelled to help Tara.
Hamelin then drops her at the gate of the Oz Family.
Fuuka is already a member of the Oz family when Tara arrived. Tara became good friends with Axel , feeling like an older brother figure for Tara. Unknown to them, While having the looks of a child, Tara is actually thousands of years old. It was due to Helle keeping her alive, Helle being a dark fairy and all. ( this was even before they arrived at the town dorothy made )
Tara’s love story with Hamelin is similar with the canon one only at the beginning.

After the meteor shower gathering, Tara wanders into a dangerous back alley, she sees a man collapsed on the ground.
Worried, she tries to help him; she ends up getting Soh for help carrying him, and they bring him to the church. The two eventually get to know each other, and Tara continues to visit him there, bringing him food and chatting. One day while she’s visiting, Dorian Gray enters the church. Hamelin takes her to hide in the storeroom; she winds up having to sit on his lap due to the tight space. While they’re hiding, he pulls her in for a kiss, calling her his angel.
“Now… Tara, even I’m not sure if you’re a saint or a temptress.”
Once they’re out of the storage room, Tara tells Hamelin, to his surprise, that no one had ever kissed her before, asking why he did it. She winds up running away from the church from embarrassment.
Three days pass before she works up the courage to visit him again. She meets Soh, who says he had been bringing him food in her place and tells her to go see him. He’s been sad without her there, barely even noticing her come in due to how lost in thought he was. As they’re talking, they are interrupted by Caesar, who had trailed Soh, bursting in and threatening Tara. Hamelin takes Tara by the hand and runs from Caesar, into the center of the town. There, they are greeted by the heads of all the famiglia.

Hamelin decides to run again, telling Tara a final goodbye. However, she winds up returning to the church, and he is hiding there, as she expected. When asked if she does, Tara tells him that she loves him. The two decide to run away together.
Before they can leave in the morning, they are found in their hiding place. Hamelin decides they must pretend he had kidnapped Tara, to prevent her from being punished with him.

Just before the families take a hold of Hamelin, Helle finally takes over, black Aura spreads and everyone immediately feels dread and heaviness in their hearts. Helle laughs and looks at Hamelin.
“ You know, i dont think you’re crazy. Not at all. especially since this was the first someone had made Tara felt this much happiness. “
Dorothy feeling this ominous power summons Helle in her tower through magic, but Helle wont take any of it and rejects Dorothy’s magic by stunning her for a short while.
Showing everyone her power to keep them silent. Helle told everyone that she wouldn’t be there had they not gave Tara such distress and telling her that people can change. Hamelin is no different. That if they were able to be given a chance to change ( she meant the lion, the tin man and scarecrow ) then why wont they give that same chance with Hamelin. Even if he had made mistakes and crimes, Helle told them she will keep him in check. In the first place, If they let them go, they wouldn’t need to worry about Hamelin at all and that Tara and Hamelin was planning on doing that anyway. Most families was against it , only angering Helle. telling them that if they don’t let Tara and Hamelin go, only time will tell what she will do with the town and that breaking the source of life there will be as easy as stepping on a bug.
Hamelin was just silent at this point. Seeing the girl she loves have a more ominous side to her. He stared in awe and shock.
Helle proving herself to be terrifying in her own way, made everyone decide to let Tara and Hamelin go. Although the Oz family who had gotten to know Tara well requested to be able to say goodbye to her properly, especially Fuuka and Axel who was the closest with Tara.
Giving back the control to Tara, Hamelin gives her a relieved hug.
(A/N: Helle’s motto at this point “ if peaceful conversation wont work, then a little threat here and there would ought to do it. probably some memory erasure or configuration too! “ she’s evil, in her own way… )
