Reix was made to assist and resupply troops in a major war that had broken out. The war caused utter destruction to the land, and caused much of the life on the planet to die. Lives were expensive, but tech was cheap, and Reix and the rest of his species were not the only robots created for war purposes. Eventually, the war became one of machines. Each side sending huge bots against the other, and stealthy hunters to destroy robots like Reix that focused on resuppling the underground bunkers that the people took shelter in. But, one day the fighting stopped and the people on both sides just left. They left all of the machines behind, and the wrecked world with them. Many machines just shut down without orders, but those like Reix continued to wander. They wandered until they found something they had never seen, as well as a new purpose. Life was slowly seeping back into the world, and by taking it into themselves Reix and the rest of his kind are able to help regenerate their world. Keeping safe what once was rare, and allowing it to grow.
