After his mother had an affair with a mysterious Leafwing. Emerald's egg was layed. She made the excuse to her spouse that it was his, and he believed it. When the egg hatched, Emerald was greener than she expected. However this did not stop her from insisting that being green was perfectly normal. Her overprotective nature made Emerald wary of leaving home, but he desperatly wanted to try new things. Because of his appearance, he was often ridiculed and bullied. However, this did not stop him from being the kindest dragon he could be. He currently works as a model for leafwing sculptures/paintings. He doesn't like this job, but his mother put him into this role at a young age.

He has no Hivewing abilities, but gained some leafspeak from his biological father.
