The first time was all that took for King to take an interest in Asterism. For the latter, though, the more they met, the more apprehensive Asterism became towards King.

hey both kinda had their own (surprisingly similar) things going. Mainly just wandering aimlessly, Asterism pulled pranks and stole; King basically just haunted, hunted and tormented people.

They kinda saw eachother as rivals. At least Asterism did.

It wasn't until King took a liking to haunting and tormenting Asterism that their 'relationship' grew stronger.

uring one of Asterism's little 'pranks', both Gengars found themselves in a lot of trouble, being pursued by a dangerous criminal explorer team.

And somehow, together, they managed to escape, accidentally lead and hand the team to the authorities, and gain a whole hideout to themselves. Honestly, they just stayed living and working together for convenience after that. But maybe it was because of something deeper...
