Background

Chia was born with the name Ha but it was changed to Chia when she got adopted. Her mother died giving birth to her, whereas her father fell victim to "Hybrid huntings" when she was five.

Chia got adopted by a rich family shortly after but she was not going to be treated as their own child, for they saw Hybrids as lower beings. Instead she was to become the next heir's "toy". The heir was just a boy one year younger than Chia so she also had some babysitting duties. She was told that she has to serve him because he's the one with power - disobey and there'll be punishment. The boy was kind at first but as he got older, he understood that she was undeserving of his kindness and treated her more badly.

After two years, the boy left the house to enter an academy. Chia's new owner was now his cousin, nearly twice as old as her and more manipulative than the heir. He had taken a liking to Chia when they first met due to her appearance interesting him. He also liked the strict hierarchy between the two since he had quite some inferiority complex.

Chia made more mistakes when it came to his orders because they were just impossible to fulfill for a child, thus she was punished for failing. The one to comfort her was ironically the one responsible for her punishments-- why hello Stockholm Syndrome! It was sadly only bound to develop under these circumstances.

Things continued on until she was twelve and no longer needed. Her owner was an adult now and his interests shifted. There was no one in the family who wanted to keep her so when a handler (Duncan) came knocking on the door, it was more than just handy.

Immunologist (Doctorate)

Your child eschews knowledge of conventional water to focus on blood and bile. Immunologists treat and cure diseases, illnesses and sicknesses. If someone becomes sick, they will be cured by an immunologist. This will sacrifice your child’s combat potential to focus on healing.

  • Chia begins to feel the connection to her water element. In great distress, she is able to use nearby water to do things such as a small splash or move it slightly. These abilities will slowly be honed with training.
  • For now, Chia has basic first aid and is able to help treat and disinfect minor wounds and injuries. Be sure to keep studying!
• R3:
  • Cool: Given some time and direct hand contact, your child can calm down a fever, decreasing the body’s temperature. Within a half hour, they can remove the fever completely
  • Cure: Given some time, your child can cure any low-level poison from the target’s bloodstream
  • Boost: Increases blood health and improves blood pressure to decrease likelihood of basic sicknesses
• R4:
  • Flu Shot: Makes the target immune to common colds, flus + other low level diseases for a month
  • Cure 2: Heals poisons instantly, heals moderate to low diseases given some time.
  • As for general abilities, your child now has advanced first aid, and should be able to treat injuries and wounds the traditional way with a first-aid kit without use of abilities. Your child also has a basic understanding of improvisionational first aid, able to be resourceful and use the environment to help treat wounds or create slings.
