Hirabayashi Astor

Astor doesn’t consider himself to be powerful enough for hero work, but will absolutely try his best to help others achieve their goals (Ayako and Suu). His name comes from the aster; a type of flower that symbolizes love and patience and its petals used to be burned to ward away evil. His last name, Hirabayashi, roughly translates to “peaceful forest.”

Fighting is not one of his strong points. However, he will participate in battle if absolutely necessary, protecting loved ones or himself. His quirk is not strong, although he could carry seeds of certain plants with stronger vines, manipulating their growth to restrict an opponent’s movement. In addition, it is possible for Astor to bury someone alive given the correct environment, such as a forest. Despite this, he will never go so far to kill anyone. So long as he is touching a plant, he can use it. He experiences extreme dehydration is he uses his quirk too much, such as growing several trees at once.

Astor owns a small flower shop and travels to small businesses for flower arrangements. He also sells custom bouquets to customers, taking requests and carefully picking each flower based on its meaning. It isn’t abnormal for Astor to tell his flowers they are beautiful; it is a low-key belief that kindness and encouragement may strengthen beauty.

Astor is gentle, fairly quiet, and confident, especially in his looks (though he knows not to be too terribly narcissistic). He will kindly thank those who compliment him for either his looks or the natural beauty of his quirk, likely giving them a flower in addition. Being a florist, he considers himself to be a specialist in floriography (the language of flowers). When giving flowers to others, he will try to gift those that best suit the recipient’s personality.

-He has a tattoo on his back, depicting a detailed rose with wings that spread over his shoulder blades. He is rarely seen without his choker, and he’s a huge fan of v-neck shirts that show most of his collarbones.
-Even though his quirk still functions in the winter, he still considers it an off time for his usual spring and summer plants. If he wants to use his quirk in the winter, it will only be indoors.
-Although he is often flirty, he doesn’t fall in love easily (demi).
-Sings occasionally; Fly Me to the Moon is a favorite.
-As a teacher, he is more than willing to sacrifice himself for his students if danger persists.
