Personality: Generally a pretty anxious guy, just in every day affairs. Can boil over emotionally pretty easy, and not one to shut himself off to others. Fiercely protective of friends/family, cares deeply and hates deeply. Will form split second opinions but try and act intellectually superior about them. Likes to be the smartest person in the room, and enjoys having the upper hand in most situations. Not big on scary stories or surprises.

Additional Important Information:
Dao is classified as Monster/Human due to the fact that since birth he has had the ability to transform into a tall, skeletal creature with a more primal version of his own personality. He has gained more controll over when he transfroms as he grows older, but it can still be provoked by extreme anger and emotional outbursts, and is quite draining physically. Due to the fact that him and his monster counterpart have such a large size difference, transforming back can sometimes result in sprains and in severe cases fractured bones. He is almost always extremley physically drained after transforming.
To keep the human part of him fed, Dao regularly eats human food, but the monster part of him requires the energy of living beings to stay functional. One can't live without the other. So around twice a month Dao needs to drain a person almost completley of their energy, which a lot of the time results in either death or extreme paralysis. He tries to feed on people that have no connections within society or have committed some sort of severe crime, but this isn't always the case due to how immediate the sense of hunger can become if left unchecked.

= BACKSTORY INFO =
Dao, having been born with this ability and showing he posessed it at a very early age, obviously ran into some family issues pretty early on. His parents were extremley understanding considering the situation, his mother having experienced this before with a close relative, and assuming it was passed to Dao through her. They were all in all supportive and good parents, taking Dao to anger managment courses in order to better control when he transforms, and homeschooling him up until high school. They tried very hard to keep his ability hidden, because while mild supernatural tendencies were common, the nature of Dao's could make him a very easy target to become a personal assassin, seeing as the draining of energy leaves no evidence of the killer when done.
His sister May was born three years after him, and they grew up extremley close. She however didn't know how powerfull he was, never seeing him transform. Dao was very protective of her, and it manifested one night when he was walking her home from hockey practice and the two were mugged. Dao, after seeing May get mildly injured, was afraid of what might happen to her if he didn't go all out, and in a fit of rage transformed and severely injured the mugger. He fled the scene after dropping May off at a police station.
Well like you'd expect word gets around of a monster in the neighbourhood and Dao took it upon himself to flee in fear of endangering his family. May also decided it would be best for her to tag along, not particulairly fond of being used as leverage in case she could ever be traced back to the incident. They haven't seen their parents in 3 years, and move around constantly.
= RELATIONSHIP INFO =
Dao, while not taking any special interest in a serious relationship in a while, deffinitley does have interest in people from time to time. It usually doesn't pan out for more than a few months, however.
