Orion

Orion is a fabulous alicorn. His left eye is bright yellow; his right eye is bright blue. He has tall pointy ears, dark orange hooves, and a fluffy dark blonde to brown mane that is cut short at the front but long and wavy at the back. As an alicorn, he has both the horn of a unicorn and the wings of a pegasus. His dark orange crystal unihorn is long, sharp, and slightly jagged with smaller yellow and orange crystals growing around the base. He has two large wings that start with dark brown feathers at the top but extend into a soft orange to pale yellow at the tips. His medium-length fluffy coat is tan with a cream belly and dark brown back stripes across his face, back, and hips; across his back to shoulder feathers are black and orange speckles. He has leg feathers over each hoof that reach the ground. His tail is overly fluffy and long.

When Orion uses magic, his horn will glow and swirl with fiery magic. His wings can also light on fire, resembling the flaming wings of a phoenix.

Orion usually wears a phoenix half-mask that covers the left side of his face. The mask is pale orange in color with a darker orange beak and swirl patterns across the face; a couple of yellow and orange spikes are arranged back the back to resemble the points of a stylized sun. Two large black feathers adorn the back. The mask is clipped to his unihorn crystals to stay on.

His mane and tail are always loosely pony-tailed with various orange beads. A few thing chains are wrapped around his neck with dangling orange diamong-shaped gems. He has a wavy black sash with orange and yellow speckles at the ends draped around his body and held in place by two large sun-like decorations at his shoulders and a small chain between them. On his front legs are two plated greaves with a similar pale orange with dark orange swirl pattern to his mask, black thin feathers on the sides, and sun decors on top. On his back legs, there are a few chains with sun decors and thin black feathers.

In anthro and Human form, Orion still wears his typical accessories but also a vibrant set of mage robes with a fancy shirt and pants underneath.
He doesn't always have his horn or wings out in Human form but can summon them as needed.

His weapon of choice is a multi-pronged spear - not a magic book or staff. He's quite good with it, too.

As a demigod and fire mage, Orion has a large variety of fire spells at his disposal. He is capable of using very high level spells, but he sticks to common spells, such as fireballs, firewalls, and small fire tornadoes. He can also summon small flocks of flaming birds as a ranged weapon or simply a distraction.
Most of his minor spells are used for showing off, though.

He can teleport without the use of waypoints. This skill is barely used, because it relies heavily on visual memory and tends to be unreliable. He cannot travel to a place that he's never been to; text from a book isn't enough.
If he cannot recall the location properly, the spell will backfire and throw him somewhere randomly in the world. He has ended up in the ocean more than he'd like to admit!

Additional teleporation spell rules:
- Orion is limited to the world he is physically on.
(He will never end up randomly in space or on another world.)
- He can bring others along; it takes a great deal of energy.
- He can send a person away, but only to a random location. 99.9% of the time, it is still the ocean.
- He can teleport objects, but he must be able to carry it comfortably and focus.
(No teleporting SUVs, tanks, air balloons, etc.!)
- If he wants to travel to another world, he must open a rift - but that's a completely different and kind of complicated thing!

- flamboyant and loves to show off - leadership skills; usually takes the lead and makes decisions for his followers - very outgoing and charismatic - enjoys socializing and going to parties - romantic; likes to flirt with people but is currently not interested in a full relationship - overprotective of friends - intelligent; likes to tell jokes and listen to stories

- always on the move and doesn't like idling - gets a bit impatient when people are being slow - would hate traffic so much - often absent from the temple on work - very committed to his job; under pressure but tries not to show it - magic goes haywire when stressed out; results in uncontrolled fires

- likes to sit around and listen to ambient sounds (ex: rain falling, leaves rustling, etc.) - likes listening to his own voice; sometimes sings - finds silence rlly unsettling and incredibly lonely - has a hard time falling asleeping without some sound - uses runes for their humming sounds to help himself sleep

- fearless when it comes to fire because he is pretty much made of that stuff - likes cooking with magic - favorite thing to make is s'mores or just toasted marshmallows!

- agile and athletic but actually sucks at sports because he doesn't understand their concepts and can't seem to learn them - says that sports suck to cover up that fact lol

Orion currently resides in the Temple of Xalkrios as the leader of the Xalkrians. Their temple acts as a shelter and provides necessities for others in need.

Orion was created by his father, Xalkrios, to help maintain the galaxy they lived in. Unfortunately, his creation was a bit too late; their own galaxy died to an unmentioned event. They ended up migrating through several galaxies, before ending up at a particular one.

While his father was busy, Orion began to visit worlds on his own, and he came to adore one planet's ecosystem and inhabitants.

Xalkrios could sense the corruption taking over and wanted to destroy the world to create it anew, but Orion disagreed and asked to prove that the world didn't have to be destroyed. Xalkrios agreed and made it into a test to see if his son could live up to being a demigod.

Orion went to live on the world's surface and has pretty much been there the entire time. Oh, and he established some religion around his father. It wasn't necessary, but he did. He praises the sun?
