Slowcus Pocus

A studious magician who specializes in dreams, He acquired this ability at a young age, and has since then been honing his talents at Peritwinkle's Magical Marvels Academy. Due to his species, he is often lethargic and requires many hours of sleep. Thankfully, he has a teacher in the dream world as well, Oneiro. The two have made it their duty to rid the world of the awful Nightmare Realm. Oneiro and Chiaro also try to help others let go of pain and trauma, and hopefully reform for the better. This task is difficult since dreams that are connected to repressed events need to take place. 

Before being endowed with the marvel name Slowcus Pocus, he was primarily known as Chiaro. Despite being thrust into a world of responsibility, opportunity, and great expectations, he still retains lots of childhood innocence. He talks to his plush toys, sleeps with them, and is still naive about many things, even if he seems wise on the outset.

His child-like qualities assist him when travelling to the Dream World, with toys he sleeps with manifesting as partners in the Dream World. 

When he isn't able to get enough sleep, he becomes goofy, acting in a manner similarly to a drunken state. His usually calm demeanor is also replaced with hyperactive tendencies, due to his surges of magic being uncontrolled. Regular sleep helps him control his abilities.
