ABILITIES

She is a Dark Spherest. This means she can summon elements under the moon realm which are: darkness, wind, water and ice. She is versatile and flexible in battle. Some of her stronger spells will require some time to cast so, a tank or a distraction is needed. She can be in the front line wielding offensive magic and as a support to aid her allies. As she grows she learns more spells even those opposite of her sphere.

• Able to manipulate and levitate objects and even people.
• Summons cat minions.
• Casts spells imbued by her elements. Imagine ice meteors, hurricanes, water pillars and dark waves.

• Summon various things from her moon bag (Like Doraemon XD)

Appearance

Toffee is a petite, plain Jane girl with pale skin color. When she learns to come into terms with her innate magical abilities, her hair, ears and eyes slowly changes. She starts out with long curly sky blue hair eventually it becomes ombre- gradating from sky blue to pink then purple. She like to wear pastel colored star accessories on her hair. She has purple eyes with normal shaped pupils at first. The more she became in tune with her magic, star shaped specks of various colors became apparent in her irises and her pupils became star shaped, too. Her ears are more elf like than it was before. She usually reverts to her old or more human form in the no magic realm.

For her witch form, she sports a one piece cold shoulder dress. It has a black lace layer on the neck until above her chest area. The chest up to the waist area is pink with pink puffy sleeves. Below each sleeve puff, a purple ribbon can be seen. The sleeves also transition to black with purple curved trimmings. The skirt area composes of two layers: The first or top layer is a black translucent cloth. The second or bottom layer is pink with purple on the curved trimmings. She wears stockings that have pink and purple stripes. Her shoes are a pair of black boots with purple details. 

To top off her witch looks, she wears a black witch hat with purple curved trimming like her dress. The hat has a purple ribbon with pink frills. The ribbon has an attached yellow moon broach on it. Notable accessories are the black choker with pink frills and a moon shaped waist bag with purple ribbon wrap to hold it in place.

Her staff is a mixture of black and purple hues. The main end has crescent shape adorned with light blue details with 3 embedded blue, pink and purple mana stones. Most staves in my story have floating mana spheres located usually on the center but all depends on the design.  These spheres resonate with its wielders spells and summons. 

Doughnut, her cat familiar, has black fur. He has a stumpy tail like a chicken. He has dark blue eyes and a ribbon collar sporting the same color.

BAckground

Toffee is a an ordinary college student in a realm where no magic exists. She suffers mild cases of depression and anxiety in juggling her college and family life. She wanted to end it all but she keeps persevering hoping to finally get to the light of this long dark tunnel. Her pet cat, Doughnut, is the only one that keeps her afloat. 

But all that changes when she helped an old woman carry her things on a local train. Toffee was sitting on the benches waiting for the local train. She was on her way home after a class. On her periphery, she caught the sight of an odd and peculiar cane. The cane looks old and ancient but it had a nice dignified shine. It had worn ropes wrapped around the handle with three shiny gold bells. The cane was held by an old lady. She noticed that she had a huge bag, as well. 

The old lady went upstairs to go the comfort rooms a moment ago. The train eventually arrives but the grandma was nowhere near the platform. She saw how the old lady tried to hurriedly descend the stairs to catch up. She will have a hard time bringing her luggage, too. Toffee and the old lady met eyes.  Toffee instantly noted the situation and signaled the old lady that she'll bring the bag inside the train. The grandma was able to reach the train. She was out of breath but had a big smile on her face. She was thankful for Toffee's assistance. She spoke to Toffee in an unknown dialect and wanted to give her money. She knows the lady was thanking her. Toffee tried to decline. The grandma paused and looked in her bag and gave her something instead.  The grandma held her hand and placed a black but shiny trinket in her palms. The old lady gave a smile noting that she cannot refuse. Toffee was thankful. She smiled and went to their sitting.

The train ride was nothing special but she had a big smile plastered on her face. Her heart felt full helping someone. She looked entranced at the beautiful trinket. Looking at it closely, it was not fully black but had hues and shades of purple. It looked like an expensive antique brooch or something. It was shaped like a half crescent with light blue intricate details. She noted three stones embedded on it, as well. She started to wear it as a necklace wherever she goes. 

Little does she know, this is the start of a magical adventure. Toffee is a an ordinary college student in a realm where no magic exists, or so she thought.
