Madge Maddox

Heavyweight champion and faction leader at the Cackling Colosseum, Madge is a showwoman above all else. Given she's twice the size of any of her gladiators, she's mostly retired from the action itself, out of fairness, and instead has taken place as bombastic arena boss and commentator over the stadium loudspeaker, still with the championship belt around her waist. Loves to punch on, takes any excuse to celebrate, has fondly appointed her 8 year old daughter as gladiator's medic and there's nothing you can do about it but take the Hello Kitty bandages with pride. She's all about enjoying life, and her brand of fun being rather illegal and dangerous means the lack of organised society in the desert ain't so bad really. Has a big laugh. Rude and crude but friendly. Very friendly. You WILL be her friend unless you want to be fight meat but either way you're falling asleep in a pile of feral furry punks in the barracks underneath the stadium. Everything she says is in all caps. Likes when people ride on her shoulders, likes red meat and moonshine, loves her little daughter, tells people she ate her ex-husband like a praying mantis. Loves love, also, and is #1 shipper on deck for any cute couples in her vicinity. Bonus points for gladiator couples. The drama's to die for, possibly literally. Weapon of choice is a big-ass flail but she'd really rather just punch someone's head clean off.

Very fond of the Phoenix, always happy to see her at the Colosseum and get her out of that sophisticated shell for a few hours. Had to personally boot Rabid Max from her community because he's a significant safety hazard when he's tweaking. Generally amicable with the other faction bosses (wants the two short ones to kiss) but butts heads with Birdie semi-often because of their opposite life philosophies -- waste-not vs party-hard.
