Elwood is the size of a domestic cat, which is out of the norm for his species as they are much larger. He is a pygmy crocolily, with wings that can help him soar through the winds. He cannot fly, however he can glide through the caverns and jump between rock formations. He's very playful and loves to play in underground rivers and lakes. He doesn't have flowers instead he features glowing gemstones embedded on his back. He lives primarily in caves/caverns and refuses to leave the saftey of the darkness. He despises sunlight and will only venture outside the cave during night. This is mainly due to sunlight hurting his eyes due to sensativity. He is incredibly shy and often flees before anyone can see a glimpse of him unless they sooth him with a relaxing melody, he then will most likely try to play games after he assesses that they are not a threat.

Elwood can only commune with those who are reptiles, as they share a common language. He usually asks someone to translate if there is other reptiles nearby otherwise, he mostly won't know what they are talking about. He can understand extremely-limited sign language and gestures. He speaks in a soft squeaky voice, which sometimes can be difficult to understand.
