A committed, easy to fluster ace trainer who dreams of being a Gym Leader. As a child they lived in Unova, close their cousin, Marlon. They're childfood friends with Mamua and Koko, and is very protective of them both- they appear aggressive, but it’s a front to both defend their friends (and to not admit frustration when they lose).
They moved to Galar to apply to be the next water type gym leader, only to find that the position was filled long ago. Normally they'd turn back, but after a run-in with a rogue Wooloo belonging to the Turffield Gym Leader, Milo, Darya decided to stick around... just until they get back on their feet! Not because she's in LOVE or anything! That being said, they haven't been made aware yet that their feelings are returned...
