Ihda originated from the gigantic dessert of the Canvas, deep into Helian territory. She fled once she grew old enough to survive far journeys alone, and thankfully she didn't do so by herself. Lariel -an imp hydra- found Ihda as she was heading for shelter in Glacia, accompanying her and finally befriending her after the various trials they faced together. Though first accused as a plague-touched, the two are still together in Meliad and Ihda is as patient as ever whenever Lariel decides to pull another one of her catastrophic jokes.
