Personality: The way Basil acts depends on who he is around. When around strangers, or people he barely knows, he tends to be shy and awkward. While he usually doesn't go out of his way to avoid people, he tends to not interact or approach those outside of his social group. Of course, there are some exceptions to this, like if a particular person catches his interests, or if he absolutely has to talk to them. When around he's with his fellow pack rats, he's a lot more relaxed. He's actually pretty friendly towards those he knows, and sometimes he can become quite talkative when around people he feels comfortable around. However, no matter who Basil is with, he's usually very quiet. Sure, he has moments where he's talkative, but for the most part he doesn't say much. He just prefers to listen, as listening doesn't get him into trouble. He's always worried about coming off wrong, or having someone misinterpret his words, so he thinks keeping his mouth shut is a good solution to that. At least it has made him a good person to talk to when you need to rant about something. The male also prefers to follow, rather than lead. He'll offer an idea or two sometimes, but he still hates the idea of having to lead a group of people. Another thing, Basil can be very forgetful at times. He is terrible at remembering names, faces, and a few other things most people have an easy time remembering. Songs are one of the few things he has an easy time remembering. Something that doesn't help with his forgetfulness, is that Basil is a procrastinator. He's always trying to put things off. Problem is, he often forgets to do whatever he's putting off before he even starts it.
