A conlanger. His latest work-in-progress is Áqa (pronounced [a˦q̚ʔa˧], kind of sounds like Dracula laughing), a tonal, agglutinative, ergative-absolutive language that he intends to bog down with a purposely convoluted numeral system and an unusual take on multiple negation. Has some strong opinions against romlangs (even though he’s made one of his own) and an honestly understandable disdain for relexes.

He insists on pronouncing his last name like it's French (“pain” and “lait” meaning “bread” and “milk”) even though the first word has been Americanized in its spelling. Doesn't actually speak French, or any natural language other than English, but that doesn't stop him from pretending he does.
