• Basil, while in werewolf form, has accidentally killed someone before—it's something that haunts him and has been a result of many sleepless nights 
• He was born in 1847 and got bitten in 1905 at the age of 58, but at least he got to live a whole 58 years of his life unscathed 
• He moves around a lot and prefers to live in seclusion because it's suspicious that he never ages, but living in rural solitude is a lot harder than it was in the 19th century … 
• He is very fond of goats and likes to keep at least one as a companion at all times—he's even figured out how to stop his werewolf form from going after his pet goats

• He is an old fella (58) and has wrinkles in his human form—please don't forget them
• Has a lot of whitish streaks in his hair and a receding hairline ("widow's peak," if you will)
• He has stubble on his face—not a full-on beard, but I'm willing to let you try giving him a full beard if you feel so inclined
• Pretty think and/or lanky build in his human form than kinda contrasts his werewolf one
• He can be drawn in his normal or part-wolf form anytime unless stated otherwise (if you are drawing him in a nighttime scene, he should always be part-wolf)

Basil is a lonely early 20th century werewolf who lives on his farm. Living in on an isolated piece of land, he doesn't socialize much or have many (or any) friends. Although lonely and rough around the edges, he's generally not mean or aggressive if people give him a chance, he just looks that way. He claims to enjoy being alone, leaving the lovable side of him very repressed. Some might say he's a diamond in the rough. On any normal night, nights without a full moon, he only becomes part wolf (see his reference). The only time he is ever a complete wolf is on full moons, so he only sees his wolf form approximately once a month. He cannot turn into a wolf during the day. He has quite a love–hate relationship with his wolf and part-wolf forms; on one hand he loves having the youthful springiness he had in his youth, but on the other hand... it just sucks to change every night. He's also perpetually 58 since he got bitten, which makes him ask why he couldn't have been perpetually 28.
