◦ LET ME TELL YOU A STORY .

Zahra was born in a small town in Barbados called Plumtree. In a large family of eight and being the eldest, most of Zahra's life was hard. Strict rules, discipline, and punishments for even just looking at her mother wrong. But this wasn't all bad. It gave Zahra a big backbone. She was independent and able to handle and take care of herself and never letting anyone walk over her. While she respected her mother, as that was the only parental figure she had in the majority of her life, she also was stubborn just like her. Classing and butting heads constantly till enough was enough. As soon as she turned 21 she moved away, taking the big risk of moving to a whole new country. America. Of course, her family wasn't pleased with this decision, and yes it was hard living there for the first couple of years. But Zahra made due. 

In a time way before the toxins were released, Zahra used to be a professional volleyball player that had almost played for the Barbados Olympic team. But unfortunate circumstances arose where she had to step down from her position. This was hard, seeing how she was a dedicated woman. Nothing was too hard or too challenging for her. Therefore, she took up different hobbies just to keep herself busy. Boxing classes, which became the time she met the love of her life Lincoln. For Zahra, to love another human proved to be difficult. What was love? How was she supposed to be a soft, fragile woman, who was supposed to let her partner do things for her when she grew up so independent and strong without a care in the world? Who knew, because that was when she met Lincoln who a the time was the instructor and then became the love of her life. They started a family and just like Zahra's, a strong, well-structured family. 

First came Keren, her sweet first child to which Zahra learned to become selfless and patient as a child was a big responsibility and she knew nothing of how to be a mother and little did she know more were on the way. Zahra raised Keren as she was raised. Tough, independent and not to dare let anyone take her for advantage, and therefore put Keren threw a serious of sports to toughen her outer shell. Just a few years later came Ty. Second child? No problem. Of course, Ty was raised no different than Keren. Zahra wanted to give what her mother couldn't. Love to her children. Though at times they both came off hot-headed and a handful, it never changed her love. And of course, they had to have a third child because why not? And thus Jacolvy was born. And she swore that was it.
