History
Jun was born to two parents who didn't care about each other. His father was in it for the intimate relations, and his mother was in it for the money. It didn't take long for them to split, forcing Jun to choose between the two of them. Of course, he picked his father, his father told him to. His mother was kicked out promptly after the choice, and a new woman was around in her place almost instantly. Jun didn't care about it, but didn't like his new 'mom' either. He became quieter and kept to himself, until his father excitedly told him that he was geting a younger brother. That helped Jun brighten up quite a lot.
He still didn't really want to interact with his new step-mom, but he was forced to since he was excited about a brother. He tried not to talk to her much- if ever- and instead focused on cooing to her belly. This resulted in a strange relationship where he felt so strongly for his future sibling, but didn't care at all about his father's wife. It took months, as it does, but eventually, his brother was born. His father's wife was lost in the process, but getting Kilian made everything better, Jun thought.
After Kilian's BirthDespite only being 11 years old, Jun was tasked as a caretaker. It was his job to keep his brother quiet and entertained. Overwhelming, but he was willing to do it. After all, he loved his little brother tons! Everything was fine for a while, until Jun started trying to have more personal time as he got older, and as Kilian calmed down a bit. When Kilian was 5 and Jun was 16, he ran away. He couldn't handle the pressure of living in his father's house anymore, even if it meant leaving Kilian behind. He could come back, later, when things were okay, and find his brother again. It wouldn't be hard to do!
On his own, Jun took allowances he had saved and found himself an apartment to rent. It took a lot of namedropping and work, but the landlord agreed to let him live there, even though he was underage. Jun spent the rest of his 'childhood' learning, trying to figure out how to go about life. He attended some cheap online classes, and kept himself as smart as he could, while writing music on the side, getting by in life with the little he could make doing that and various odd jobs.
CurrentJun never expected the call. It was Kilian, frantic, asking if Jun had somewhere he could crash. He had gotten into a fight with their dad, and needed to get out of that house before his brain exploded. Jun didn't hesitate to let Kilian into his home, offering a spare space as a room to come back to any time Kilian needed escape from it all. In exchange for this sacred, comfortable place, Kilian would occasionally give Jun a little out of the allowances he was still getting, since their father didn't know about their new arrangement. Jun was happy enough to have a little spending money again, and was able to get a few nicer things for his apartment to make it feel more like a home.
Currently, he's living half by himself, and half with his brother, trying to figure out what to do to help Kilian out of the situation he seems to be stuck in. If nothing else, Jun has been researching various therapy options, for both of them. He can't really offer much more than that, but his brother seems to understand.
