Backstory (before working in LC)

• Live with warm family in the Nest
• Played with a kid of the parents’ boss and the kid got hurt, so the parents were fired
• Really, parents would like to throw Laurent away right there and then because the former’s family is literally ruined by one man, ruined to the next life. Although the parents do get new jobs, Laurent is not forgiven.
• The feeling is like “Had we stayed, we would have been promoted”, or “without you we wouldn’t have suffered”.
• Being on good terms with only the brother (Louis) because he is nice.
• Or it can be like a relative brings in the sister (Lillian) and she finds Laurent lying in a pool of blood. Nobody asks Laurent. Everything around him is a mess so everyone thinks someone broke in the house, because Laurent couldn’t have done this by himself.
• A burglar breaks into Laurent’s house, Laurent runs into the burglar and kills him. However, Laurent’s parents see the killing and say things like “the devil child”. Lautent snaps.
• Laurent had a knife to the throat but he could kill the burglar. He felt so good like he made it out alive and saved everyone so they might treat him better. Instead, the parents berated him.
• He was much in despair. Since everyone viewed him as a demon, he did not expect any good treatment.

After a bad situation

After a bad situation. When they was found in Laurent’s house, Laurent freaked out, reduced to a mumbling wreck until he was taken to the hospital. Treatment was not good there as Laurent was tied up and given shots.

Laurent didn’t say a word at the hospital. He didn’t answer questions or eat. He just sat and sleep, sometimes mumbled on the bed.

The doctor checked on Laurent, but the latter remained silent. Sometimes he wrote something on a piece of paper and drew; and ask for some blood samples (maybe to find drugs).

Laurent at the time had an eye patch, casts and some cuts. Over time, Laurent opened up more to the doctor. The doctor told Laurent to stay strong and smile while checking, but Laurent refused at the time. Laurent didn’t want to die, but he didn’t say a word.

One day a nurse told Laurent the doctor brought some food and snacks. Laurent smiled at the food and snack because they were so tasty. Laurent warmed up to the doctor, allowing more tests and chatting. Laurent became fond of drawing because of this doctor.

5-6 years after leaving the hospital, Laurent lived in a relative's home. But they didn't care about Laurent as they should. One day Laurent went out to buy ingredients for cooking. As he walked toward his house, L collided with a young man who was walking against each other.

Working and new life at LC

• However, Dakota is nice to Laurent even when the latter goes berserk while fighting abnormality.
• Dakota is the only one not scared of Laurent in that state so Laurent opens his mind finally. It’s not like nobody is nice to him, but when Laurent “lets himself go” everyone runs away. Most that don’t are like don’t care. But Laurent is the only one that remains nice and at L’s side from the start, so Laurent is impressed.
• Laurent doesn’t think that far because he believes everyone is scared, so mocking or anything just doesn’t matter much since it’s all after being scared. It’s curious if Laurent’s biggest brother would find out, or if he would understand after finding out.
• Used to have a friend in the LC. Relationship was good until a fight with AB and the friend freaked out. Laurent fixed the doll, but the friend became scared of him.
• Everyone became distant toward Laurent, so Laurent thought everyone became scared of him again. Laurent goes solo in every fight with AB. The first that comes to help is Dakota even while Laurent is going berserk.
