Tairr has a desire to help people, whether he knows them or not. He doesn't like to see other Pokemon in pain or distress and therefore will try to help. However, if things start getting dangerous for himself to the point where it looks like he may not make it out, Tairr will back out in order to save himself. He will mourn the loss of the other Pokemon, should they die, but he would not regret the decision.
Due to his past and living alone for most of his life, Tairr is cautious. He will automatically scan the room and he is highly aware of body language. He has trouble trusting people, though he constantly tries to put the trust in other people, he draws it back at the first sign that something may go wrong. The sign is usually really small and completely unavoidable, such as being a little late or getting angry at something. He doesn't like following the lead of other Pokemon, but will put up with it if he does not see them as an immediate threat.
When fighting, Tairr is typically a hit and run type of Pokemon. At first at least. He will attack and jump away, out of immediate attack range and watch for his next opening. However, once the fight progresses a little, Tairr isn't scared to fight dirty and actually prefers to do so. He no longer immediately jumps away, but his attacks become vicious and will be put with other attacks to make especially dangerous ones. Fighting comes more naturally to Tairr than interacting with other Pokemon any other way and therefore, fights are one of the very few times that he won't feel much anxiety. He's doesn't even like the idea of killing, but isn't past doing so if he feels it's necessary.
Tairr is flustered easily though, the slightest bit of praise making him want to hide away. He absolutely adores physical affection of any kind, even if it isn't the nicest. Due to not being very trusting, Tairr doesn't exactly allow Pokemon to touch him though, so many do not know this. Other than that, he prefers being up during the night and will often sacrifice a couple hours of sleep in order to sit out under the stars. The blue rings will glow during intense emotion, whether its excitement, anger, or sadness. If he focuses, he can make sure they don't, but this is usually unneeded.
He wants to join a Guild in order to save people who were in similar circumstances, but is having trouble working up the courage to actually join
