Jay was born and raised in Cloudsdale, quite unhappy, until she was visiting an earth pony friend and discovered her special talent: caring for plants. All plants flourish under her care, although she's most adept at tropical flowers. She currently runs a nursery/arrangement shop in Ponyville with her girlfriend, Peace Lily.
