Entirely hypnotised by the movements of the winged female, you hardly notice the girl beside you beginning to sway. She had been crying at the beauty of the performance, hands clutching a closed fan at her chest.
Suddenly, and without warning she gently fell into you, eyes closed. You snap out of your trance and raise your hands suddenly to catch her small frame.
Gently, you lay her upon the floor, hand on her forward to check her condition. Relief floods through you as you see the steady rise and fall of her chest.
"Aah she must have just fainted" You thought.
After about twenty seconds her eyes open again.
"D-did it happen again? G-gosh I'm so sorry" she whispered, her voice weak as she opened the fan to hide her face in embarassment.
"Could you help me to my feet again? I had hoped not to miss any of the performance today... but the heat was too much with all these people.." She trails off, seemingly disappointed at her own condition, tears beginning to well in her eyes again.
You help her to her feet, patting her head to sooth her once again, offering a napking you had got from the bar earlier to wipe her eyes as you enjoyed the rest of the performance together.
