Philomena Penniroyal always thought it was born to be a champion. It lived a short life, ended when it was killed by the siblings of the person who loved it most. It's been a rage-fueled poltergeist ever since.

It enjoyed relative freedom, having not been the chosen heir of its family, and because of its engagement. It was originally resigned to being a diplomatic pawn for its family, but was happily surprised when its fiancee seemed a lot like it.

Killed by its sister-in-law, Luce Montagne. It was considerably less sheltered than its fiancee, Dani, but also less grounded than them. It helped them find whatever small escapes from their suffocating family it could. The two were to be married for a familial alliance, but they genuinely did love each other. Dani and their siblings were the first openly trans people Philomena had met, too. They planned to run away together one night.. but they were caught, and Philomena never saw Dani again. It languished in the new Penniroyal Mansion, built to celebrate the Montagne and Penniroyal union. The grand house stood empty aside from its restless resident, a punishment which made Philomena feel like a ghost long before its death.
