Phoebe

Species details: Avariels are a race of feathered humanoids who are descended from an ancient tribe of warriors. Since  the tribe is so ancient, it is rare to find a "pure" avariel who's lineage  can be traced fully back to the tribe. 

Personality:

-  Dedicated (Once Phoebe sets her mind to something, she puts everything  she has into achieving it. This is  normally related to her job, but it can also be seen in her relationships with others. Because of this, she struggles to break it off with toxic people.)

- Protective  (Phoebe has a strong protective instinct, and she will do anything to keep  those she cares about safe. She would sacrifice her life for them [if  there was no other option] without question.)

- Thoughtful (Phoebe has a good memory, and she puts it to good use both on and off the job.  She's the type to remember the small things you tell her [like something  you had your eye on or something you'd love to do] and put that to use.  If you need gift ideas, she's your girl.)

- Trustworthy (She  values the trust others put in her very highly. If you give her a  secret, you can be sure it won't get to anyone else.)

- Workaholic (She pushes  herself to and past her limits to achieve her  goals, sometimes ignoring  her basic needs to do so. Her work makes up  more of her life than is  probably healthy.)

- Standoffish (Once Phoebe sets her mind to a  specific path or accepts an opinion as her own, she will resist most  ideas/orders that don't align with hers. She rarely, if ever, escalates  these conflicts into fights, but she will argue her points. She can be  quite something to deal with when she's in one of these moods.)

- Identity obsessed (Since being a  part of the guard has been such a huge dream and part of her life since  she was little, Phoebe sometimes has trouble not losing the rest of  herself to her work.)

Relationships:

Mother: Linnet-Human [Mage] 

Phoebe's  pregnancy was a difficult one, and while Linnet survived, it left her  very drained. She caught what would normally be a manageable illness,  but due to the damage of the pregnancy, it was fatal. Phoebe has no direct  memories of her, but she has heard many tales of her mother from her father. She also has two letters that Linnet had the foresight to write  for her daughter, knowing she might not survive the pregnancy. These letters are some of Phoebe's most precious possessions.
