please forgive me of my writing doesn't make sense, this is just something im writing down for now. ill clean it up later!
Serah is the leader of a mercenary group. The mercenaries she leads do not fight for cash only; the job they're doing matters. A pacifist, Serah tries to talk with the enemy before going into combat. She hates to fight others no matter the reason; she believes violence isn't the answer and will always try to find a peaceful way to end the tension.
Due to their different beliefs, she and her brother separated— him going with Eliwood's group and her setting off with her own group.
Soon after [brother's name] departed, the mercenary leader retired; and handed over the mecenary group to Serah. Now as it's captain, she went on the journey with her group to end the war.

Serah has a serious personality; very rarely does she ever laugh, and when she does, her brother is the cause. She is determined; when she decides to do something she sees it out until the end— a trait that she and her brother share. Despite her stubborness and stoic persona, she is shown to be caring for others and her brother; so much for [brother's name] that, if there were no other options, she would sacrifice her life for him.
Despite her love for her younger brother, she despises [mother's name]— whom she believed that her mother only used her father as “rebound”. After the death of [father's name], [mother's name] admitted to Serah at a young age that she wished she had been upfront to Lord Elbert about her feelings for him. This caused Serah to distrust her mother and Elbert, and as years passed the tension grew; she eventually begun to hate them.
